Marcha para St. Michael School!

Olá futuros intercambistas!

Essa nossa primeira semana de aula foi agitada com diversas atividades muito divertidas. Uma delas foi a “March For Mike' s” na sexta, uma grande caminhada que acontece todo ano e os alunos são convidados a arrecadar dinheiro para que ele possa ser distribuído entre todas as equipes e clubes da St. Mike. É um evento super animado, tem várias brincadeiras que incluem alunos e professores, antes e após a caminhada, para que todo mundo fique feliz. Na caminhada, tivemos vários pit stops onde pegamos comida e água. No final, ficamos em um campo de futebol onde disponibilizaram pizzas e música ao vivo para os alunos. Todas as bandas que tocaram eram compostas de estudantes e professores. 

Para que tudo ficasse mais divertido temos que usar roupas da cor da escola, ou seja, azul e amarelo. Fomos bem simples, porque lá encontramos todos os tipos de fantasias e podemos até comparar a um carnaval, porque as pessoas vestem, por exemplo, pijamas de personagens, fantasias, colares coloridos, glitter, entre outras! A mais engraçada que vimos foi a de dois meninos os quais vestiam uma meia calça por todo o corpo, incluindo a cabeça, não podíamos nem ver seus rostos, e ainda usavam perucas e shorts. 

Percorremos 7km, uma experiência incrível! Gostaríamos de ter na nossa escola também, por exemplo, uma volta na Pampulha. Ia ser incrível!

March for Mike's 

Hello future exchange students,

Our first week at school was with a lot of fun activities, one of them being "March For Mike's" on Friday, a great walk that happens every year, where students are invited to raise money, so that it can be distributed between all St Mike's teams and clubs. It is a super animated event, there are several games that include students and teachers before the walk so that everyone gets excited. On the walk we have several pit stops where we can get food and water. 

At the end we stayed in a football field where the School provided pizzas and live music for the students, and the bands and singers were the students themselves and some teachers. And for everything gets more fun we have to wear school color clothes, that is, blue and yellow, we were even very simple, because there you find all fantasy types, we can even compare to a carnival, because people wear, for example, pajamas of characters, costumes, collars, glitter, among thousands of other make-up! The funniest thing we saw was that of two boys, who wore pantyhose all over the body, including the head, we can not even see their faces, and wore wigs and shorts.

We hiked 7 km, an amazing experience! We would like to have at our school also, for example, one lap in Pampulha. Might it going to be incredible!
